In Knoxville as it is in Heaven

Series Description

Most people are aware that being a Christian has something to do with going to heaven when you die. But many people haven’t heard about God’s plan to bring aspects of heaven to earth. In his famous “Lord’s prayer,” Jesus tells us disciples to pray that God’s kingdom would come on earth as it is in heaven. And in Paul’s letter to the Philippians, he calls the church to live as “citizens of heaven.”

So what does it mean to live in this way? How do we participate with God in bringing the realities of heaven to earth in practical, tangible ways?

This series takes seven weeks to explore six different ways we can infiltrate Knoxville with a bit of heaven.
