1 Peter: Life in Exile

Series Description

The book of 1 Peter is a letter, written to followers of Jesus who are in exile: strangers living in a society that does not share their values or their way of life. And as a result, at times this society is suspicious of them and hostile to them. So Peter writes to these Christians, covering a variety of topics, all in an effort to instruct these exiles on how to interact with the world around them.

Although we may not face the level of ostracization and persecution that these early Christians did, we can still learn plenty from this letter about how to relate in faithful, helpful, and missional ways to a world around us that is increasingly non-Christian.

This series takes 15 weeks to learn how we relate faithfully to the people, systems and structures in our world.
