Church is a Family: Life Together in the Kingdom of God

Series Description

Life is simply better together. That’s true in any arena of life, and it’s certainly true of following Jesus. We were made to live in deep, meaningful relationships with other people, and to benefit from those relationships in significant, transformative ways. The language the bible uses for all this is that of a family. Followers of Jesus are called to function like brothers and sisters, siblings in the household of God himself. When God becomes our father, we also gain a whole bunch of siblings.

So the question follows, what should life look like in the family of God? How do we live and love and interact with one another in such a way that we all benefit from, and in such a way that God’s kingdom is displayed to the world around us? This series takes seven weeks to explore the answer to that question.
