Work: God's Purpose in Our Labors

Series Description

Work is what we spend more of our life doing than anything else (minus sleeping–for some people, at least). Whether it’s punching the clock, watching the clock, feeding the kids, doing the dishes, or any number of other things, work fills up a lot of our lives.

For some people, work is boring and monotonous. For others, work is everything–the one thing giving purpose and meaning to the rest of our lives. And for most of us, even the best work is filled with inconveniences and frustrations that make it less than what we want it to be.

So how should we, as followers of Jesus, approach our work? Should it be a means to an end, and end in itself, or something else entirely?

This series takes seven weeks to explore the purpose of work through the lens of the Scriptures.
